Wednesday Wish

I’m bored with the cold weather!  That little hint of Spring that had raised my hopes a few weeks ago is well and truly gone and we're all still muffled up in puffas, snoods and gloves.   Enough now!  I’m fed up with layers and am ready to break out the jackets, blazers and Spring coats.  Roll on March!  It's a month that gets a bad rap, but in my experience it's all about daffodils, tulips, brighter evenings and milder days.  (Or perhaps my experience is coloured by the fact that my birthday falls in March, so I associate the month with nice things … like presents!)

So with Spring in mind, I stumbled across this little gem of a coat by Maje, the Aldo Ecru coat.  Yes, I know I featured Maje on my wish list recently, but if truth be told (and budget allowed) I could have happily purchased the vast majority of their stock.  Gorgeous, gorgeous clothes. 

I’m a Spring coat freak.  Love them!  It’s my belief that you can get away with the most boring ensemble, provided you dress it up with a really cool coat or jacket.  And this coat would certainly do just that.  The colour blocking nods to the current trend, the colour speaks of springtime and of course it’s the ideal shade for those of us who wish to avoid the darker hues.  In fact for anyone like me, who has psoriasis, it is quite simply the most perfect coat to have in your wardrobe. I love the length, kind of a cross between a jacket and coat.  In fact, if I had a spare few hundred rolling around my wallet, this little gem would definitely be mine.
